Wondering about my daughter's hearing and speech....?

Hey, My son was three months preemie. We went thru all sorts of issues with speech and hearing. I went to specialists and had tests etc done and it all came back clear. However the audiologist refered us to a speech therapist which he saw once a week for a few years. It really made a big dif. as for hearing nothing was done. Unfortunately sometimes especially with preemies things can take longer to progress. I wish you the best of luck. P.s remember no two kiddies ever progress the same :)

What if an engineering degree is not ABET accredited?

I have applied for master's of science in systems engineering. And I looked at the ABET website and the name of that university is only listed for electrical engineering and computer engineering. This means ABET accredited the BS in EE and its BS in CE program. However, the university does not offer BS in systems engineering and only offers MS in systems engineering. But its systems engineering master's is not accredited by ABET. That means its fake degree? I checked wikipedia article about the university and it says, "it is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA)". The university name is colorado technical university.

CAPTCHA may be annoying but if it didn't exist on many webpages they may not exist. If there were not CAPTCHA people could make computer programms to overload the servers and make the website loose some of its data. What would you rather have your silly CAPTCHA or your favorite site to no longer exist?

How do investment companies gain profit?

i don't get it?????? as far as i understand they get their profit by the turn over (net profit) of the company (in which the investment company has invested) according to the % of shares the investment company holds and also from the stock prices which rises, am i right? or do they earn by some other ways???
