Lifestyle of an Investment Banking Analyst?

Alright, so I know they work 7 days a week, but do they get holidays off? Also, are you in the office all day for all 7 days or can you work from home? Do the hours get better as you move up the chain? How long does it take to become an associate? VP? MD? Thanks
