What do you think of Triumph making a 350cc for the U.S.?

Triumph has announced that they have designed a 350cc single cylinder motorcycle. It will be offered in India and other parts of the world. They have not done a study to see if it would be a favorable investment in the U.S. What would you think of this offering. It is designed to compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Honda CBR250. But, would have about 1/3 more power and a higher top speed. The Ninja has a top speed somewhere around 110mph. A single cylinder offers a desireable wide torque curve with beginners in mind. So, what do you think of this?
