Can a cystocele and rectocele repair help tighten vagina?

I had a cystocele and rectocele repair carried out 6 years ago and for 5 years after was not sexually active due to splitting up. I have now been in a relationship and described as'tight' which I found surprising as I have had 3 children before the op. Did the op help to tighten me up? Can it also impair some of the feeling?
